Visiting Nurse Programme as Part of Specialised Continuing Education
As part of the specialised continuing education programme, “Trained Assistant for Oncology Nursing”, we offer the opportunity to complete a visiting nurse programme in inpatient radiotherapy at our clinic. We represent the only inpatient clinic for radiotherapy and radio-oncology in the Bonn / Rhine-Sieg Region to offer this opportunity. For carrying out our continuing education, we cooperate with other clinics such as the Bonn University Clinic.
In addition to specialised, first-hand nursing and care-related activities, we also offer the opportunity to gain familiarity and knowledge in palliative and curative radiotherapy.
Requirements for the Visiting Nurse Programme:
- The applicant should be enrolled in a continuing education programme for oncology nursing.
- The visiting nurse programme should last a minimum of four weeks.
Internship for School Pupils
We gladly support young individuals in their career orientation. As part of a voluntary internship, we provide the opportunity for direct insight into the special demands and needs of nursing at our specialist clinic. This internship opportunity is available for school pupils in both the radiotherapy and radio-oncology as well as the neuroradiology and radiology departments of our clinic.
Being actively included into the team enables direct experience with everyday work in nursing. And of course, we also ensure continuous exchange with our interns on their experiences.
Requirements for an internship:
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
- The internships should last at least 3 to 4 weeks.
- We would like to point out that an internship in the area of nursing is carried out on an unpaid basis.
